4. Take Preventative Measures
Getting a yearly flu shot and getting screened for breast, colon, or cervical cancer are some of ways chronic diseases can either stay away or get found early enough to get treatment for it. By taking these preventative measures, you and your elderly loved one will be educated, and that is the key to success!
5. Have a Positive Outlook on Life
Being optimistic and spiritual has been link to higher life expectancies and lower health problems. In fact, one 2006 study discovered that regular church attendance can add between 1 and 3 years to your life. This may be due to the fact that church melts a stress for a more upbeat, positive outlook.
